Presidents Match 2024

On 24th June 2024 a game was played between the County President's (Mr John Bates) team and Wellington President's (Mr David Wood) team. The result was incidental (Welliington won) however, it was great to meet with friends from other clubs throughout the County. A fun game was enjoyed by all.

On 17th September 2023 the team above played in the Hereford City Tudor Rose Bowl, as the club did in 2022. Five clubs each entered two teams of four players, each playing one match at Wellington Bowls Club in the morning and one match at Hereford Bowls Club in the afternoon. We managed to win all four of our matches, which meant Wellington won the Tudor Rose Bowl.

Emmerson Cup 19th April 2023

Although the weather was cold, there was a very good turn out for the first club competiton of the season. The Emmerson Cup was a close fought battle between Pat Cleves and John Riches against Pat Powell, Roger Cleves and Lionel Powell, with Pat, Roger and Lionel emerging triumphant.

Many club members braved the weather for a Club Photograph (below).
