The Club | Established in 1996, we are an outdoor flat green mixed bowls club in Herefordshire. We play competitively in the Tarmac League as well as friendly matches and club competitions. Come and give bowls a try. We are a very friendly club and welcome new members of all ages and abilities. We are very keen to attract younger members to ensure the club survives after we have gone! Full coaching is given. All that is needed to start is a pair of flat soled shoes. All other equipment is provided. |

Playing Surface | We have an all weather artificial surface which plays like a closely cut grass green on a dry summers day. A new playing surface was installed in 2014. A wood takes between 12 and 13 seconds to travel down the green, which is very level. |
|
Members | We have both men and women members and welcome friends in wheelchairs as we have three specially designed wheelchairs for use on bowls greens. We also have a wide selection of woods for new members to try. Once they have found a set of woods they like, members usually buy their own woods. |

When we play | Club afternoons during the summer (April to October) are on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons between 1.45 pm for 2.00 pm start and 4.00 pm at the green (an hour earlier during the winter to play in daylight).
