In a tribute to the late Mike Harbour, members of his family and Wellington Bowls Club met on Sunday 4th August 2024 to remember Mike and dedicate an arbour in his memory.

Sited at the opposite end of the green to the pavilion, this will provide shelter for bowlers when the weather turns rainy quickly.

Mike's family made a generous contribution towards the arbour. As Mike's surname is Harbour, Cyril thought it would be appropriate to name the shelter Mike's Arbour.

James and Deborah cut the ribbon and formally open the arbour.

Many club members came to remember Mike and celebrate with some fizz kindly provided by the family.
